19-year-old Elijah Okesson was charged with drug possession on August 21 after staff at Belmont University searched his shared dorm room. Staff were notified of the smell of marijuana coming from the room and spoke to his Okesson, who emptied his pockets at the request of staff. A marijuana vape pen was produced, resulting in a full search of the room, per the school’s policy. Inside the dorm room were 28 grams of suspected marijuana in a backpack that reportedly belonged to Okesson, along with 28 grams of mushrooms, a digital scale, and a bond used with THC wax. He was issued citations for two counts of drug possession and drug paraphernalia. Okesson and was booked on the charges this week.

Inside the dorm room were 31 grams of suspected marijuana in a backpack that reportedly belonged to Buch. He was issued a citation for drug possession and was booked on the charge this week.
Metro Nashville Police were patrolling the parking lot of the Super 8 motel in Hermitage in the early hours of Wednesday morning when they observed a vehicle parked in the rear parking lot with two people inside, one of which was the driver, 22-year-old Meredith Wickstrom. As officers approached the vehicle, they observed a rolled joint in the center cupholder, and the male passenger had a grinder in his hand. Wickstrom consented to a search of the vehicle, which yielded 16 grams of mushrooms, 10 grams of marijuana, a black scale, and several baggies – all in a fanny pack with Wicktrom’s state-issued ID. She claimed those were not her drugs in her fanny pack with her ID.
19-year-old Emi Amador Canales arrived at her gated apartment community, The Club Apartments in Antioch, at 4 a.m. but was unable to get the gate to open. She began honking her horn, alerting AEGIS Security Officer Jonathan Rickaway who began shining a light in her car, and causing the situation to quickly escalate as words were exchanged and she smacked the flashlight from his hand, hitting him in the arm. Taking offense to her reaction, Rickaway took it upon himself to reach into her vehicle and attempt to put her vehicle in park.
In reaction to a man reaching inside her vehicle, she began fighting Rickaway and eventually rammed the gates with her vehicle in an attempt to flee away from this security guard. Rickaway got one cuff on her arm during the struggle, however, she escaped to the backseat and grabbed her loaded handgun. Police eventually arrived and charged Canales with assault and vandalism. Rickaway faced no charges. Canales is free on pre-trial release.
29-year-old Zachary Pollack told police he was “high on shrooms” when they caught him with a purple Lego bunny rabbit at the ‘Nature Pop’ exhibit at Cheekwood Estate & Gardens Monday night. Security believed he was trying to steal the artwork, however, Zach says he just “thought it would be funny if it moved”.
24-year-old Keishawn Robinson was charged with possession of mushrooms, Oxycodone, cocaine, Xanax, marijuana, paraphernalia, possession of a weapon during a felony, and felon in possession of a weapon after being identified by police in a gas station.
Julien Menth, 23, can be found across various countries, islands, and continents any month of the year, on yachts and ski slopes, but on Sunday he found himself in a Nashville jail, after he flew into the Nashville International Airport with marijuana joints hidden inside a jar of peanut butter. He is currently free on a $6500 cash/credit bond.
Due to a tip about an MNPD officer using ‘magic mushrooms’ to avoid failing drug tests, MNPD found a string of offenses, including videos of him growing & using the mushrooms, and his history of extreme racists texts send during his patrol shifts. The officer was allowed to resign without any criminal charges being pressed.
