John Dibelka charged in brutal strangulation of girlfriend

Accused of cheating, police say John Dibelka,33, brutally beat his girlfriend, strangling her until she lost consciousness and soiled herself, at which point he laughed at her and strangled her harder. She eventually hit him with a bottle of liquor to secure her escape. He is free on a $50,000 bond.

Nurse Assaults Pregnant Girlfriend, reports says he punched, poured hot coffee on, spit on, and choked her.

A local nurse (RN) was arrested for allegedly assaulting his pregnant girlfriend at least twice, including alleged incidents of spitting in her face, punching her in the face, soaking her with a thermos of hot coffee, putting his elbow in her eye socket, and choking her.

Treshon Patton Indicted on Murder Charge for July 2017 Murder of Anthony London

Fatal gunfire in a public housing parking lot last July has resulted in the first-degree murder indictment of Treshon Patton, 23, who surrendered at the MNPD Warrants Division office downtown just before midnight last night. Patton, of 14th Avenue South, is accused of killing Anthony London, 23, of Carterwood Drive, in an exchange of gunfire on July 22, 2017, in a parking lot on S. 6th Street.  London was shot in the head.  Patton was shot in the stomach.The investigation determined that the gunfire resulted from an on-going dispute between…

Kwik Sak clerk Said Hermina, 31, is charged with aggravated assault after he fired shots at a man who fled the market with an 18-pack of beer without paying for it. Jerry Smith Jr., 44, entered the Kwik Sak, 2012 S. Hamilton Road, at 2:30 a.m.  He went to the cooler and selected an 18-pack of beer which he brought to the counter.
