Shannon Crothers charged in West End DUI — blows double legal limit after “a few beers”

Metro Police say 36-year-old Shannon May Crothers was driving on West End with no headlights in the early hours of Friday morning. She was slow to respond after an officer initiated a traffic stop but eventually parked in an alley between 16th & 17th Ave. She reportedly smelled of alcohol and admitted to drinking a “few beers” at an event with friends. She performed poorly on field sobriety tests and later blew a 0.164% BAC on a breathalyzer —double the legal limit in Tennessee.

Keyshionna Redmon cashes paper check she had already deposited via mobile banking app

26-year-old Keyshionna Redmon is charged with passing a worthless check after she used mobile deposit to deposit the $250 check into her Regions Bank account, voiding the paper check. Advance Financial says she then brought the paper check to cash it again at their business.

Tywansha Perkins charged in assault of Metro School bus driver

Video from a MNPS bus shows 36-year-old Tywansha Yvette Perkins waited for her child’s bus to drop him off and then entered the bus before any children could exit. She got in the face of the bus driver, put a finger in the driver’s face, and yelled, “Imma f*-k you up!” and continued to yell and curse and escalate the situation while the driver remained calm but afraid. The children exited around Perkins, and she then left the bus, too. Perkins was reportedly up prior video footage from the school bus proved that her son was not telling the truth when he told her the school bus driver assaulted him by shoving him and slapping candy from his hand. A judge released her on her own recognizance.

John Tristen Mitchell steals ex-girlfriend’s laundry basket; assaults sister on same day

Police say 26-year-old John Tristen Mitchell forcibly entered the residence of his ex-girlfriend, Catherine Parker, on October 15th. Once inside her home, he began to break light fixtures and other glass objects that belongs to Parker. Prior to leaving, he took her laundry basket, emptied the contents on the floor, and absconded with the laundry basket. On that same day, Mitchell met with his sister, McKenzie Mitchell, on Charlotte Pike and got into a verbal argument. He escalated the argument into an assault by pulling his sister’s hair and pushing her to the ground, where he punched and slapped her in the face multiple times before fleeing the scene. Mitchell is charged with aggravated burglary, domestic assault, theft, and vandalism.

Mitarius Boyd jailed after dispute over PlayStation 5 at Nashville Best Buy

21-year-old Mitarius Boyd was jailed Wednesday after causing a disruption and refusing to leave a Nashville Best Buy store when they didn’t have a PlayStation 5 in stock. Just before lunch, he entered the Best Buy at 2311 Gallatin Pike and got into an argument with a store employee who told him there were no PS5’s in stock. He loudly confronts multiple employees until the General Manager, Jason Connally, asked him to leave the store due to his loud and disruptive behavior. He refused, demanding to see the store’s policy on paper that allowed them to remove him. Officers arrived at the location and gave him an opportunity to walk away and out of the store, yet Boyd continued to refuse to leave and began arguing with officers. He was taken into custody and charged with criminal trespass and disorderly conduct.

America Michel beat ex-boyfriend with passport, poured shaken soda on him

21-year-old America Michel Xiqui-Vega says she stopped working at the Viva Market on Monday due to the toxic relationships with her co-workers, which included her ex-boyfriend, Alder Pablo-Pascual. She returned to the store Tuesday to speak with the manager, and her ex, Pablo, was working. She became upset with him, shook a soda bottle she was carrying, poured it all over her ex, then took out her passport and began slapping him with it. Store security video captured the entire incident. She is charged with domestic assault.

Charles Schubert charged with overnight DUI at Hermitage Ave shell in downtown Nashville

28-year-old Charles Schubert crashed his vehicle at the Shell on Hermitage Ave in downtown Nashville in the overnight hours of Tuesday. Officers arrived to find him standing outside his vehicle, where he admitted to consuming “1-2 drinks” prior to driving. He refused field sobriety tests and breath and blood samples. Schubert was transported to booking and charged with DUI.

Daniel Hagen jailed after making online threats & false allegations against Musician Alex Angelo

48-year-old Nashville amateur musician Daniel Lee Hagan is charged with two counts of harassment after police say he made false and threatening online posts about a Nashville professional musician Alex Angelo Gutierrez on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and TikTok. The allegations include accusing the musician of murdering people and that Alex and his mother and father are running an underground pedophilia and child molestation ring within the Nashville music industry. Hagen reportedly threatened to harm in his posts, along with Alex’s father and manager, Alex ‘Bo Matthews’ Gutierrez. [screenshots in story]

Germari Jones steals & pawns the airpods of the man he’s spending the night with

Jakir Wills says he had 19-year-old Germari Jones over to sleep at his house on September 24th & 25th. After Jones left, he was unable to locate his AirPods. Using the tracker feature, he pinpointed them to be at the Easy Pawn on Dickerson Pike. Police contacted the pawn shop, which provided a copy of the ID used to pawn the AirPods, which belonged to Gemari Jones. A warrant was issued for the arrest of Jones and was served on him Tuesday after he was in a traffic collision, and his name was run through the police database.

Porshia Buchanan doesn’t accept relationship is over, attacks lover & rips her bra, breaks coffee table, destroys kitchen

34-year-old Porshia Buchanan has been in a relationship with Santarius Bradford for “several years,” according to a police report, until recently, when Ms. Bradford ended the relationship. Ms. Buchanan, however, did not end the relationship and continues to threaten her ex-lover. Police say Buchanan walked into Bradford’s apartment and assaulted her, grabbing her by the shirt and tearing her bra, breaking the living room table, and pouring water onto the couch. She then swiped everything off the kitchen counters and table, telling the victim she’d have a male friend “get her.”
