Glenn Sharber booked for trespassing on MDHA property

23-year-old Glenn Sharber was booked for trespassing and evading arrest on 12th Avenue South on January 8th. Officers responded to a call regarding a black male with dreads and a pink backpack pointing a gun at someone on December 2nd. When officers arrived, they noticed Sharber, who matched the description given in the call. Sharber was walking towards the building when officers ordered him to stop. Sharber then banged on the door to be let into the residence and closed the door behind him. Sharber exited via the back of the residence, where another officer was present. During the investigation, officers learned that Sharber was on the MDHA banned list for all properties. Sharber was given a state citation for criminal trespassing and evading arrest. 18-year-old Jaymarion Brand jailed after sending police on high-speed chase

18-year-old Jaymarion Brand was jailed on January 4th after reports of individuals getting out of a silver car and pulling on car door handles in the area of Benay Road. Officers searched the area and observed an individual wearing all-black clothing, pulling on the handle of a parked car in a driveway on Riverbend Drive. The individual saw the marked police car and ran to a stationary silver Toyota in the center of Riverbend Drive, with the engine running and the lights cut off. Brand entered the passenger’s seat, and the vehicle turned its lights on and accelerated toward the police before turning away right before hitting them and getting off the road. A traffic stop was attempted, and the police decided not to pursue. Moments later, the vehicle was spotted speeding over 100mph on Briley Parkway before fleeing into an apartment complex on Elm Pike. The vehicle’s occupants ditched the car behind the complex and fled on foot. A citizen flagged down officers and pointed toward the building where Brand was located. He was detained, and a bag containing approximately 22 grams of marijuana was found on him. He admitted being in the vehicle but denied being the driver. Inside the vehicle, a well-used window punch was found along with a gun holster, distal scales, and an additional 6 grams of marijuana. Brand’s cell phone was also located inside the vehicle. He told police that two other people were in the car and repeated that he was not the driver. The vehicle owner was contacted, who advised that she did not know either of the defendants and never permitted them to drive her car. Jaymarion Brand was taken into custody and charged with reckless endangerment, possession of burglary tools, unauthorized use of vehicle, possession or casual exchange, drug paraphernalia, and three counts of evading arrest.

Jermavyon Frierson nearly hits pedestrian fleeing from police, tells officers “Yeah, I seen him”

24-year-old Jermavyon Levonte Frierson almost drove into a pedestrian behind Willie B’s Kitchen and Lounge before running through a flashing red light at the 9th Avenue North and Garfield Street intersection early December 30th. Officers observed this and tried to conduct a traffic stop, but Frierson was able to evade them successfully. Officers discovered the address registered to the vehicle, went there, and located the owner to ask about the incident. The registered owner went upstairs to get Frierson, who then advised officers that he fled because he did not have a license and that he had marijuana on him. Frierson also noted that he had discarded the marijuana. Officers told Frierson that he almost struck a citizen when he was fleeing police, and he replied, “Yeah, I seen him.” The registered owner told officers that Frierson came home with a backpack and consented to a search through it, but they could not locate it. Frierson was taken into custody for tampering with evidence and evading arrest.

Englishman Sam Loveridge jailed after Broadway Brawl in downtown Nashville

35-year-old Englishman Sam Loveridge was part of a large Brawl on Broadway Friday night when they were confronted by security and the manager of Rippy’s about their tab. The manager was shoved, and several people, including security, were assaulted by members of the party. Loveridge was identified as one of the involved parties and attempted to flee when officers informed him he was not free to go. He took off running and was eventually taken into custody, and continued to resist arrest. Loveridge complained of a pre-existing heart condition and was cleared at Metro General Hospital before being transported to booking.

London tourist Christopher Lee fights & flees from police downtown, #PreTrialRelease

19-year-old Christopher Lee, who was visiting from London, was one of the individuals involved in a fight on January 1st on Broadway in downtown Nashville. Witnesses and bouncers advised officers of the scuffle, and they located Lee, but he began to flee, ignoring their commands to stop running. Lee was actively resistant when they detained him, and he was pepper sprayed during the altercation, so he had to be medically cleared before being taken into custody for evading arrest, resisting arrest, and disorderly conduct.

Harold Shaw tracked by AirONE after speeding through residential neighborhood in Maxima

25-year-old Harold Shaw was speeding in a residential area on Havenbrook Drive in the late hours of December 14th. Officers observed this and attempted to conduct a traffic stop, but Shaw continued to drive off. Aviation units updated officers with his location as he eventually pulled into a driveway on Bell Arbor Drive. He was the only occupant of the Maxima and was taken into custody for evading arrest.

19-year-old Tristan Williams jailed on multiple charges including vehicle theft, domestic assault, and evading arrest

19-year-old Tristan Williams had a domestic altercation with Natasha Lynette Simmons-Crutcher and her juvenile daughter at Revels Drive on December 11th. Her daughter stated that Williams came to her house, trying to fight her brother in the front yard, regarding an earlier incident at Wal-Mart. She stepped outside, told him to leave, and had to get in between him and her mom, who told him that he was not going to fight her son and to leave. Williams was coming at them aggressively, putting them in fear.

Then, in an unrelated incident, on December 20th, Williams was driving a white Hyundai Elantra that was seen in multiple vehicle break-ins on Oakwell Farms Lane. Andrew Smith reported that the vehicle was stolen. Officers observed the Elantra-at-large traveling down Donelson Pike, initiated a traffic stop, and pursued it until it stopped at the MDHA housing between S. 7th Street and S. 6th Street. Willams and a co-defendant exited the vehicle and fled, causing officers to chase them. Officers ran in front of the building and saw Williams on the steps without the hoodie he originally had on. They later found the hoodie by Building 19 that he threw away as he walked toward South 7th Street. They reviewed MDHA camera footage, which confirmed that Willams was the driver and was running away from the vehicle. He was Mirandized and admitted to knowing the car was stolen. A subsequent search of the vehicle yielded a window-breaking device on the floorboard and a Taurus Handgun that was reported stolen by Jameson Calloway regarding a burglary on October 15th. Williams had three outstanding warrants in Davidson County and one in Rutherford County. He was taken into custody for evading arrest, theft of a firearm, vehicle theft, possession of burglary tools, assault, trespassing, and domestic assault.

Jarvale Chesser steals ex-girlfriend’s Mercedes-Benz C300, attempts to break-into her Honda Accord

38-year-old Jarvale Javawn Chesser was driving his at-the-time girlfriend’s, Alexis Hick’s, Mercedes-Benz C300 with expired tags on Lafayette Street in the early hours of May 29th. Officers observed this, conducted a traffic stop, and found Chesser’s license was suspended, so he was cited. On November 16th, Hicks advised officers that they had broken up, but he gained access to her Mercedes-Benz without consent and refused to comply with her demands to return it. Then, on December 17th, officers were dispatched to a domestic disturbance outside of Hick’s residence. She advised them that Chesser attempted to break into her Honda Accord and began to punch the front passenger window repeatedly, causing scratches, and he kicked the front left fender, denting it, and fled the scene. A few hours later, officers located Hick’s Benz and called a towing company. Chesser walked toward the vehicle but ran away after seeing police as they told him to stop. Officers tackled him to the ground, but he was actively restive. Chesser was taken into custody for evading arrest, resisting arrest, vandalism, and theft of property.

Qaadir Sainteloit evades police in white Mercedes-Benz, caught with Glock-27

20-year-old Qaadir Sainteloit was one of three occupants in a white Mercedes-Benz that fled from a traffic stop on Shelby Avenue Thursday night. During the traffic stop, Air One monitored and observed them drive off, back into a parking spot on Foster Street, and run on foot. After a brief pursuit, Sainteloit was apprehended with his two co-defendants; he also had a Glock 27, stating that is the reason he ran from them. He also had a small amount of marijuana, denied being the driver, and could not recall who the driver was. Sainteloit was taken into custody for two counts of evading arrest.

Jeromie Thomas Jr. evades police in white Mercedes-Benz

28-year-old Jeromie Thomas Jr. was one of three occupants in a white Mercedes-Benz that fled from a traffic stop on Shelby Avenue on Thursday. During the traffic stop, Air One monitored and observed them drive off, back into a parking spot on Foster Street, and run on foot. After a brief pursuit, Thomas was apprehended with his two co-defendants and refused to state who was driving. Thomas was taken into custody for two counts of evading arrest.
