Jacob Allen kicked out of taxi for being too drunk to remember where he’s staying

32-year-old Jacob Chaple Allen entered a taxi and did not know where he was staying in the early hours of April 6th. The cab driver flagged officers down, stating Allen was too intoxicated. When officers approached him, they noticed he reeked of alcohol and had trouble standing up. Officers asked Allen if he was on Broadway with anyone so he could call them to get him, but he did not have his phone. When officers asked him where he was staying, Allen said, “I’d be lying if I said I did.” Allen was deemed unable to care for himself and was taken into custody for public intoxication.

Kalen Hatchett gets into fist fight on Broadway

29-year-old Kalen Ferninando Hatchett and Andrew Joseph Mulcunry were involved in a fight near Merchants on Broadway in the early hours of April 7th. Officers arrived and went to break up the altercation, but Hatchett continued swinging and punching Mulcunry. When the officers tried to detain him, he started pulling away from them and resisting. Hatchett was then taken into custody for disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.

Joshua Peyton tries to leave Redneck Riviera after not paying $17 tab, tells police “Y’all should just arrest me then.”

42-year-old local musician Joshua Peyton tried to exit Redneck Riviera without paying for their services around 2:00 a.m. on April 5th. When officers arrived, they located him and spoke with Calla Carpenter, a bartender for the establishment that witnessed this, about a resolution for him to pay his tab. Before their arrival, Peyton ran up a $17.18 tab, so officers tried to get him to pay it, during which they noticed he showed numerous signs of intoxication. Officers gave him multiple chances to call a friend or his wife to pick him up, but Peyton never called anyone. Peyton told officers, “No one needs to pick me up because I am going to get in my truck and drive home.” When officers told Peyton that he would not be getting in his vehicle and needed someone to pick him up, he stated, “Y’all should just arrest me then.” Peyton was then deemed a danger to himself and taken into custody for theft of services and public intoxication.

Ryland Ford gets into scuffle with woman after snorting cocaine at Luke’s 32 Bridge

21-year-old Ryland Cailis Ford and Olivia Leigh Harris were grabbing and pulling on each other in front of Luke’s 32 Bridge late April 6th. Upon arrival, officers were pointed to the incident and advised that they showed signs of impairment during their scuffle. Officers noticed Ford reeked of alcohol and appeared not to understand them when they questioned him about arranging a ride home. Additionally, he had a bloody nose and a hand twitch consistent with cocaine usage. Ford then became uncooperative and tried to walk away, so officers stopped and detained him. During an arrest search, they located a small bag of cocaine in his wallet. Ford was taken into custody for simple possession and public intoxication.

DUI: Local DJ Lithideth Sirikoun drives 4Runner onto the lawn of Walk of Fame Park after a night of drinking

36-year-old Lithideth Sirikoun, DJ Disarray, drove his 4Runner over the curb and sidewalk onto the lawn of the Walk of Fame Park in the early hours of April 7th. Officers watched him drive onto the Walk of Fame and turn around towards Demonbreun Street, where he passed out behind the wheel. Officers then approached him and moved him to his backseat, so he could exit the vehicle. Sirikoun stumbled and had to use his vehicle as support to walk. Police tried to question him for his information, but he did not provide it. Sirikoun then told officers that he did not know where he was coming from, where he was at, or where he was going, but admitted to drinking throughout the night before driving. He refused sobriety tests and refused to provide a chemical sample. Sirikoun was taken into custody for driving under the influence and implied consent.

Taylor Wackrow chases boyfriend with knife after argument at dinner, tells police it was “self-defense”

29-year-old Taylor Rose Wackrow had a domestic altercation with her boyfriend, Robert Todd Gant, at their Towne Nashville Apartment on Garfield Street late April 6th. Gant alerted the authorities, and they were dispatched to Rosa Parks Boulevard. Upon arrival, officers noticed his shirt had been shredded and that he had a visible two-inch scratch on his left elbow. Gant refused medical attention, advised officers that he and Wackrow were at dinner, and argued over the check. Once they got back to their apartment, their argument continued. Gant stated that Wackrow was recording him, which upset him, so he grabbed her phone and entered the kitchen. While in the kitchen, he said she grabbed a large steak knife and started swinging it at him and chasing him around, shredding his shirt. Gant added that he was afraid for his life as he ran away from Wackrow. Officers then went to their apartment and spoke to Wackrow, who corroborated his statement, adding she grabbed the knife in “self-defense.” However, Wackrow could not explain how she was defending herself while she was chasing him. Wackrow then showed officers the knife she used to cut Gant’s shirt. Wackrow was taken into custody for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

Morgan Wallen jailed after throwing chair from rooftop of Broadway Bar

30-year-old country music artist Morgan Wallen was jailed early Monday morning after throwing a chair from the rooftop of Chief’s, the new bar concept by Eric Church on Broadway in downtown Nashville. Wallen was detained in a Metro Nashville Police cruiser while onlookers took photos and videos of Wallen, who appeared to be screaming through the window. He was transported to the Metro Nashville Jail and booked at 12:36 a.m., charged with three counts of felony reckless endangerment/aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, along with misdemeanor disorderly conduct. Police say video captured him hurling the chair from the 6th story of the building, landing within a few feet of three officers below. He was reportedly laughing and jovial at the time of the incident. Wallen is free on a $15,250 bond.

DUI: Lochlan Kikelly drinks six-pack of beer before speeding on I-40 East

22-year-old Lochlan Reid Kikelly was speeding on I-40 East on April 4th. Officers were conducting traffic enforcement when they observed him going 78 mph in a 55 mph and initiated a traffic stop. It took the police about a mile to catch up to Kikelly, during which they saw him cross the right centerline, cutting off two semi-trucks carrying trailers. He finally stopped abruptly and pulled to the right into a blind curve, partially on the right shoulder and travel lane, so they instructed him to continue forward to a more appropriate location.

Kikelly got off the interstate onto Fesslers Lane and pulled into Lions Club’s driveway, where officers told him to exit his vehicle and walk to their patrol car. While outside his car, he appeared nervous and fidgety. Officers asked him why he was traveling so fast, and he told them he was an armed guard at General Hospital and had to taser an individual earlier, which caused him to be overwhelmed. He added that he had just left there after having to return the work keys since he took them with him. Officers asked if he had any weapons, and he stated he had his duty weapon, Glock 17 9mm, inside the car and on his duty belt.

During their conversation, Kikelly reeked of alcohol and had to be instructed repeatedly to stay in front of the patrol car. He admitted to having a beer with a friend, so officers requested him to take sobriety tests, which he consented to, and performed poorly. He was detained, informed of implied consent, agreed to provide a blood sample, and then was transported to St. Thomas Midtown Hospital for the draw. While at the hospital, he told them that he had three beers before being pulled over, adding that he shared a six-pack with his friend. Kikelly was taken into custody for driving under the influence and possession of a weapon while under the influence.

DUI: Maria Leverette found drunk in her car after “3 shots”

28-year-old Maria Leverette was sitting in her blue sedan in front of Antioch Park late on April 3rd. Officers observed this as they patrolled the area, so they approached her to speak. Leverette took her car keys out of her pocket and put them in the ignition to roll the window down. Officers noticed the car reeked of marijuana and asked Leverette about it. Leverette stated she had smoked earlier in the day and that there was a small amount of weed in the car. During a search of Leverette’s vehicle, officers found an open bottle of alcohol in addition to the small amount of marijuana Leverette mentioned earlier. As officers continued investigating, they noticed Leverette had a slight odor of alcohol and was showing signs of impairment. Leverette was then asked to take sobriety tests, which she consented to and performed poorly on. When officers Mirandized her, Leverette stated she had “three shots, about 45 minutes ago.” Leverette agreed to provide a blood sample and then was taken into custody for driving under the influence.

Vanessa McPhee assaults daughter after accusing her of dating someone she knew

65-year-old Vanessa McPhee had a domestic incident with her daughter, Malonda Jenkins, and her grandson, K.J., at their Crockett Street residence on the night of December 7th, 2023. Upon arrival, officers spoke with Jenkins, who advised that McPhee had come by and accused her of being in a relationship with someone she knew. However, Jenkins said she did not understand what McPhee was talking about. This initiated an argument, during which McPhee started attacking Jenkins, leaving bleeding scratches on her face. Jenkins stated she was standing on the porch outside the storm door when the scuffle began, adding that she fell back into the house. This is where McPhee got on top of Jenkins, continuing to attack her. KJ said that after hearing the confrontation in the living room, he came and saw McPhee attacking his mother, Jenkins. So, KJ pulled McPhee off of Jenkins by her hair, to which she responded by scratching his arms, leaving marks on both arms.
