Two dead, two injured in shooting — Cambridge at Hickory Hollow Apartments in Antioch

Metro Nashville Police responded to Cambridge at Hickory Hollow Apartments at 660 Bell Road just after 10 p.m. Saturday night after residents reported “a hundred rounds” of gunfire at the pool area during a party. Witnesses report one group approached another and after an exchange of gunfire, police say two males were dead and two females are injured. #developing

DUI: Tumani Sissoko crashed after leaving Lavo Lounge, wasn’t found for 4 hours

Metro Nashville Police say 29-year-old Tumani Sissoko left the Lavo Lounge just before 3 a.m. Saturday, drove his vehicle off the side of I-24 less than a mile away, and crashed in the area behind Metroplex Drive — where he lay injured until 7:40 a.m. when first responders were alerted to the overnight accident. Police say in those hours after the crash he climbed into the passenger seat, due to the driver’s area being so badly damaged. He stated he wasn’t driving, but the injuries matched the driver’s seat, and that’s where his blood was located. He was charged with DUI.

Child Abuse: Crystal Maxim-Jones charged with punching daughter in face 8-10 times in fight about food

35-year-old Crystal Maxim-Jones was jailed this week, charged with child abuse. Metro Nashville Police responded to Bishopsgate Road in Antioch, where witnesses reported Maxim-Jones and her 15-year-old daughter were having an argument over “food items”. She reportedly struck the child 8-10 times with a closed fist, impacting her head and face. Officers documented cuts on the child’s face and forehead.

David Crow charged after dragging another man inside his home, taking his phone, assaulting him

36-year-old David Crow is charged with the domestic assault of Chris Platt after neighbors reported they observed Crow drag Platt back inside the residence after he had escaped out of the back door to scream for the neighbors to call 911. The couple had been in an argument that got heated, and Crow took Platt’s phone and refused to let him leave the residence. Once he got Platt back inside, he dragged him across the floor back to the living room but claimed it was “for his own well-being.” Officers documented a golf ball sized known and cuts on the victim’s forehead and bruising and cuts on his arm.

Antioch: Taqueria El Millon reused pepper salad already served to another customer, per Health Dept

The Tennessee Department of Health conducted a routine inspection of Taqueria El Millon #3 at 5325 Mt. View Road in Antioch on Thursday. Among the violations that earned the restaurant a score of 65 on the inspection: An employee reused leftover pepper salad that wasn’t eaten by a customer and served it to another. Employees were also washing their hands using only water, no soap.

Andreas Cauley: “I waited for her to get back in the car before I hit her”

56-year-old Andreas Cauley told police he waiting until his girlfriend, Kellie Gullage, got back into the car before he assaulted her. They were at his workplace at the Antioch Sam’s Club on May 19th having an argument, and he was upset that she had caused a scene where he was employed. He admits to the assault, during which he slapped and struck her on both sides of her face. She drove to the South Precinct to report the incident after it occurred.

Man strangles boyfriend; breaks turn-signal & wiper levers from steering column of his car — Nyitrell Debardelaben

23-year-old Nyitrell Debardelaben was driving on Gallatin Pike when he got into an argument with his lover, Jordan Stone. Nyitrell, who goes by the nickname ‘Moo Moo’ on social media, stopped the car and went into a business. When he came back outside, Jordan says Nyitrell reached through the passenger-side window, grabbed his shirt, clawed at his face, and strangled him with one of his hands. As Jordan called 911, Nyitrell returned to the driver’s side of the vehicle and broke off the levers from the steering column that operated the turn signals and the windshield wipers. Police arrived and documented bruising and cuts on the victim’s neck and face.

Dedricka Norris told MNPD officers to “suck her d*-k”; offered to “knock them out” in battle

24-year-old Dedricka Norris was causing a scene outside her girlfriend’s Briarwick Drive home on May 4th, yelling and screaming for her girlfriend to come outside. Despite multiple friends and family attempting to escort her away and de-escalate the situation, she was not going quietly. When police arrived and decided she would not leave on her own, they directed her to place her hands behind her back, to which she replied: “suck my d*-k!”

As officers reached for her arm, she pulled back, assumed a fighting stance, and screamed she would “knock you out!” to one officer. Officers presented a taser in hopes she would comply, however, she did not, and they decided to wrap her arms and take her to the ground. While on the ground, Norris attempted to bite the officers. Once in cuffs and while in the process of helping her to her feet, she swung her legs, striking officers in their upper legs. Finally, she was placed in a patrol car, where officers claim she smashed her own head against the partition several times, injuring herself. She could not be buckled in, due to fear of being bitten.

Nicholas Drisaldi charged with strangulation of girlfriend in Antioch

Metro Nashville Police responded to a domestic call in Antioch and located Taylor Metcalfe standing outside of her apartment. She explained her boyfriend, 32-year-old Nicholas Drisaldi had strangled her, and had a video of the incident. The video shows a verbal altercation between the couple, and then Drisaldi puts his hands around her neck. 

Everyone goes to jail: Carlandro Branch, Destinee Turnipseed, & Maicole Shelton

Police responded to a domestic disturbance call on April 25th to find that 22-year-old Carlandro Branch had taken the phones of both 20-year-old Maicole Shelton and the mother of this child, 20-year-old Destinee Turnipseed, as they attempted to call the police to report that Branch had pulled her hair when during a child custody exchange. As he fled with their phones, Maicole Shelton grabbed a baseball bat and chased Carlandro Branch. The mother of the child, Destinee Turnipseed, also busted out two windows at the residence. She says she broke the first one in an attempt to get someone’s attention and the second one in anger. Everyone went to jail and bonded right out… the end.
