Daniel Gann charged in the beating of a disabled man in a hospital bed

Police say 34-year-old Daniel Gann entered TriStar Skyline Medical Center in 2017 when he was 30 years old and walked into the room of a 55-year-old disabled patient, shutting the door behind him. Neither man knew the other, and he asked the man in the hospital bed his name and confirmed he was Parker Phillips. He told the man to get up out of the bed and then began to punch him in the face as he raised up, knocking him to the floor. The victim fought his way to the door, at which time a nurse heard his calls for help. It was later learned that Daniel was the nephew of the man’s ex-girlfriend. Daniel Gann was given a state citation for assault, for which he never appeared. 4 years, 3 months, and 7 days later he was booked into custody on the charge.

Intoxicated woman charged after spitting on police — Rebecca Wetherbee arrested

Police say 29-year-old Rebecca Wetherbee was being discharged from St. Thomas Midtown early Saturday after a brief visit and was causing a disturbance, refusing to leave. Officer offered to assist in getting her home, but she refused to tell them where she lived, and told them to”go f–k yourself”. Police determined she was still extremely intoxicated and since she refused to leave the property, she was taken into custody for criminal trespass. Wetherbee, however, wasn’t done. Once in the patrol car she began kicking the rear window, and spit on an officer who attempted to put her in hobble restraints.

38-year-old Tamara Nance was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail Wednesday, after police say she blocked her ex-boyfriend’s vehicle in a parking garage so he couldn’t escape and chased him through the parking garage and into the emergency department, all while showering him with pepper spray and screaming at him. This incident occurred just four hours after the couple ended their dating relationship.

18-year-old Irwinn Rangel was charged with possession of crack cocaine with intent and possession of a weapon during a felony after wrecking his car and police found 8.8 grams of crack cocaine, a loaded Glock 19, and magazines inside a backpack in the car.

Nurse admits to diverting pain meds from 20+ patients at St. Thomas West Hospital

A newly released disciplinary report shows that Registered Nurse Jessica Rayburn has admitted to diverting narcotics while working at St. Thomas West in Nashville. Her license has been suspended for a minimum of six months.
