John Dixon caught with half ounce of marijuana during fishing compliance check

19-year-old John Dixon, a Davidson Co-Op employee, was pulled over for a fishing compliance check at Old Hickory Beach late August 2nd. When TWRA officers stopped Dixon and approached him, they noticed a strong odor of marijuana coming from his blue Chevy Cruze. Officers promptly asked him if he had any drugs or alcohol inside it. Dixon told the officers he had about a half ounce of marijuana and a bottle of Jim Beam Honey. He was then cited for the incident that day. Dixon was later booked on the citation of simple possession and charged with charged with possession, possession of alcohol under 21, and unlawful drug paraphernalia on August 19th.

Alexis Abernathy punches boyfriend in face during argument at nightclub

24-year-old Alexis Abernathy had a domestic altercation with her boyfriend, Armand Etienne, at Glo Best Western Nashville early May 11th. When officers arrived, they spoke with Etienne, who stated that Abernathy punched him during an argument while they were at a nightclub. Then, officers located Abernathy leaning on the hallway wall, struggling to stand independently. When they questioned her about the incident, she admitted to having a dispute with Etienne. Abernathy also admitted that she struck Etienne in the face. Then, while trying to find her ID in her purse, Abernathy fell to the ground, and officers noticed a clear small baggie that contained 6 grams of marijuana. Abernathy was taken into custody for public intoxication, simple possession, and domestic assault.

Group of adults and juveniles break into Cane Ridge High School

19-year-old Deonte Franklin, 18-year-old Daunte Young, and 18-year-old Temara Spain were charged with burglary and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Deonte was also charged with possession of a controlled substance. These charges arose after they and 3 other defendants were found Cane Ridge High School after hours without permission to be there.
