Eric Feagles resists arrest after pushing scooter down, tells police “I push all scooters down”

40-year-old Eric Feagles was observed stumbling down the sidewalk with a drink in his hand near 3rd Avenue North on June 28th. Then, Feagles walked past a green dumpster and pushed a motorized scooter onto the ground. Sergeant Bennett observed Feagles do this and ordered him to stop. Feagles continued walking, disregarding Bennett’s commands, until Bennett utilized his flashlight and grabbed Feagles by his shirt. During this interaction, Feagles pulled away from Bennett and told him, “I push all scooters down because I’m from Washington DC.” When Bennett asked Feagles if he could get a cab or a rideshare home, Feagles stated he would rather walk to his hotel. Feagles was visibly impaired, so Bennett gave him multiple chances to get a ride to his hotel. Despite this, Feagles repeatedly refused to do so. This prompted Bennett to detain Feagles, causing him to become resistive. Bennett then performed a “controlled leg sweep” and successfully handcuffed Feagles. Feagles was deemed unable to care for himself and was taken into custody for public intoxication and resisting arrest.

Austin Bratton charged after assaulting man with beer can in downtown Nashville

23-year-old Austin Bratton was involved in a scuffle near 4th & Broadway on April 28th. Bratton and his friends were walking when they bumped into another group, sparking an argument. An unidentified male from the other group approached Bratton, asking if he had a problem, which escalated the tension between the two groups. The other male told officers that Bratton threw a Michelob Ultra beer can at him, leaving his clothes reeking of alcohol, adding that he was struck in the nose. Then, he advised them that he wanted to press charges for the occurrence. Bratton was cited for the incident. Bratton was booked on the citation of assault on May 20th.

Figueroa Serrano resists arrest after brawl at Whiskey Row on Broadway

21-year-old Figueroa Gabriela Serrano was one out of a group of individuals who were fighting inside Whiskey Row around 12:06 a.m. on April 28th. Staff from Whiskey Row flagged officers down, advising them of the altercation. Officers then arrived and observed several people scuffling in front of the establishment. When the police started breaking up the large group, they struggled with two of them, one being Serrano, who ran away from the scene. While escorting one of the involved individuals, he pointed out Serrano as the person he was fighting with. Officers went to detain Serrano, and he became resistive, even after numerous instructions to “Stop resisting,” causing them to take him to the ground to arrest him safely. Serrano was then taken into custody for disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.

Derrick Tyler splatters police with beer from cans found in trash

32-year-old Derrick Tyler caused a disturbance in downtown Nashville near the Entertainment District around 1 a.m. on April 27th. Officers observed him picking up unfinished beer cans from the trashcans and told him to throw them away, which he ignored and continued to drink out of them. After officers advised him to discard the beer can again, he “spiked” the beer can into the receptacle, splattering them with alcohol as it left the can. Tyler was then taken into custody for public intoxication, disorderly conduct, and assault of an officer.

Brittany Escobar slaps man during argument for throwing her keys

25-year-old Brittany Diane Escobar had an altercation with Jacob Ryan Roewe at Barstool Sports late March 16th. Roewe flagged officers down and advised them,” I have no clue who this girl is, but she slapped the fuck out of me and told me to tell the police.” Roewe added that they are both from Houston and he claims they don’t know each other. Despite this, Roewe also explained that she is staying with him for the weekend in Clarksville, where he resides. Roewe said they argued about Escobar believing he had other girls at their table, during which she slapped him. Officers went to speak with Escobar, who stated she slapped Roewe because he threw her keys. Roewe told officers that he did not throw her keys and only attempted to hand them to her, but she dropped them. Roewe did not wish to prosecute for the incident. Escobar was taken into custody for domestic assault.

Chevaya Gordon caught crushing up cocaine

37-year-old Chevaya Gordon was caught crushing up a white powdery substance in his silver Ford SUV at 3rd Avenue South on March 9th. When Gordon noticed officers approaching him, he dimmed the lights and rolled up the windows. When officers made contact with him, they demanded that he and the passenger step out. Gordon stepped out and dropped the white powder on the asphalt before he could be checked. The substance was collected from the ground and tested positive for one gram of cocaine. Officers proceeded to conduct a probable cause search for the car, which yielded drug paraphernalia as well.

Joshua Johnson caught with cocaine, tells police it helps “clear his nose.”

31-year-old Joshua Johnson was found inside a silver Ford SUV at 3rd Avenue South on March 9th. Officers observed the driver of the SUV crushing up a white powdery substance, so both he and Johnson were told to exit the vehicle. Officers conducted a probable cause search of the car and located a brown wooden box containing 10.8 grams of cocaine. Once Johnson was Mirandized, he admitted to owning the box but denied that there was any powder inside. While officers were further investigating, Johnson stated that the powder was “crushed ibuprofen” that he uses to help “clear his nose.” Multiple other drug instruments were located inside the brown wooden box, including a pipe and a digital scale. Joshua Johnson was charged with possession with intent and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia and taken into custody on March 10th.

Apple Airtag leads police to stolen vehicle driven by Corey Little

18-year-old Corey Little was jailed after police observed him driving a vehicle that was reported stolen on September 12th. Kayla Guthrie called the police, stating that her Audi was stolen, and using an AirTag, she was able to track it to Ogden Drive and Mayer Lane. An officer began heading in that direction and ended up directly behind the vehicle while en route traveling on Ogden Drive. The Audi suddenly stopped in the middle of the road, and the driver exited. The driver then walked toward the patrol vehicle and was immediately detained by police. He stated that he didn’t know the car was stolen and that he had been walking on County Hospital Road when a friend from Middle school pulled up next to him and asked him to get in. After a few minutes of driving around, the friend, Tony, offered to sell the car to Mr. Little for $500. Little had no driver’s license but still agreed to purchase the vehicle. The approximate value of the Audi is over $60,000.

Devin Wilkes charged with public intoxication during CMA Fest in downtown Nashville

27-year-old Devin Wilkes was at 3rd & Broadway late Friday night when he pulled out his phone and pointed it at officers while making derogatory statements. Officers inquired if he needed assistance as he appeared to be extremely intoxicated. Wilkes, who was unsteady on his feet and could not keep his eyes open, was taken into custody and charged with public intoxication. 

Tourist Tiffany Densch refuses to leave Honky Tonk Central after being bounced from bar

42-year-old tourist Tiffany Densch was causing a disorderly disturbance at Honky Tonk Central on Broadway in downtown Nashville on May 21 when security asked her to leave the bar. She continued to refuse to leave, even when Metro Nashville Police arrived after being flagged down by venue security. She was given another opportunity by officers and continued to refuse. She was taken into custody and charged with criminal trespass.
