Saturday morning at 3:17 AM, D’Essence Smiley was found passed out behind the wheel of her vehicle, at the intersection of 21st Ave S & Broadway Ave in Nashville, TN. The vehicle was blocking a lane of travel, and when MNPD officers approached the vehicle, they found D’Essence Smiley slouched forward and unconscious in the driver’s seat, according to a police report. Jamese Adams is a server at Chili’s inside Opry Mills Mall in Nashville. Susan Hammer, 60, was arrested on April 10th for her 3rd DUI after she crashed her vehicle on Bell Rd, and was released on April 13th with bond conditions that specifically state “defendant is prohibited from possessing or consuming alcohol, and defendant shall be arrested for any offense” On Friday, April 27th, Susan Hammer showed up to her DUI probation meeting at 110 James Robertson Parkway at around 2:15 PM. Keinesa Lillard Charged with Shooting on W. Eastland Ave During Robbery Attempt

East Precinct detectives today charged Keinesa Lillard, 23, with Wednesday afternoon’s shooting of a man while trying to rob him on W. Eastland Avenue near McFerrin Avenue.  The victim, James Counter, 57, was critically wounded and is recovering at a local hospital. Counter had just parked his car when a gray four-door Dodge Avenger pulled up.  A woman, alleged to have been Lillard, got out and demanded Counter’s belongings at gunpoint.  During the ensuring altercation, he was shot in the chest. Car Stolen in La Vergne Recovered by MNPD Juvenile Crime Task Force; 3 Teens Arrested

The Juvenile Crime Task Force teamed with an MNPD helicopter crew and East Precinct officers Wednesday night to recover a stolen Dodge Charger that had been taken earlier in the day from La Vergne.  Three teenagers, a 17-year-old and two 18-year-olds, were arrested.  A stolen .45 caliber pistol being carried by the 17-year-old was seized. On Tuesday, the Haynes Garden apartments filed an eviction notice for Zanisha Jenkins (aka NishaPooh) of the #BoosterClub, who also just bonded out on her 3rd bond of the month – from Davidson, Maury, & Rutherford Counties. Michael Hatfield was found to be under-ringing merchandise at the self-checkout at Walmart on Monday, and this wasn’t the first time he had been observed doing so. While Monday’s incident was under the dollar limit for Walmart to prosecute for shoplifting, he was formally trespassed from the store by Ashland City PD. Details of MNPD Officer Jason Wilkerson’s Felony Aggravated Assault Charge

On April 15, the MNPD released a simple statement, and a press photo of their officer that was arrested for aggravated assault.
