26-year-old Keenan Jabril Carr faces multiple felony charges after police say he got into an argument with Nichole Williams, which began with him pushing her onto the ground and getting on top of her. Her grandmother observed this initial assault and brandished a hammer in order to attempt to stop him from further assaulting the victim.
In response to the hammer, Carr reportedly brandished a handgun then pointed it at multiple victims, including a juvenile, and threatened to shoot them if they didn’t back away. Carr was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail, charged with three felony counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, and one count domestic assault. He is jailed in lieu of a $76,000 bond.
18-year-old John Demonte Crutcher was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail Friday, charged with the sexual battery of a 14-year-old female victim on a school bus in November. Crutcher admitted to “groping” the young girl’s breast and said he shouldn’t have touched her. The victim says he placed his hand on her thigh while sitting next to her on the school bus, stared at his hand, and stated “to grab or not to grab” before grabbing her. She pushed him away, and the incident was confirmed by a witness. Crutcher is free on a $1,000 bond.
43-year-old Jeffrey Beckham is jailed in lieu of a $100,000 bond after writing an apology letter to a 13-year-old victim he is accused of raping, admitting that one of his multiple personalities committed the crime, noting he can recall it in his own memory. The victim was able to positively identify Beckham, disclosing that he had no testicles. Metro Nashville detectives were able to confirm he was ‘all twig and no berries’. A 15-year-old child says her mother, Shaton Eubanks, and her ‘auntie’, Shawntese Bradford’ punched her in the face, knocking her to the ground. One of the pair is then alleged to have beat her with a belt, and drug her outside by the hair – where the other adult then repeatedly punched her in the face and also assaulted her with a belt. The victim sustained multiple injuries from the attack.
19-year-old Skyler Whitefield-Brewner was charged with domestic assault when he threw a can that hit a 13-year-old girl and then threatened to kill her father. The incident began because the father felt Skyler was invading people’s privacy.
