Woman assaults mother, takes $10K from bank account, upset after DNA test result — Deborah Scales

53-year-old Deborah Scales took a DNA test which revealed the man she believed to have been her biological father her entire life was not her real father. Extremely upset, she confronted her mother about the results while assisting her with rice water therapy, as her father had just died. Court records and an investigation by Adult Protective Services reveal she threw the warm rice water on her mother, set off her LifeAlert bracelet during a physical struggle, and threatened to punch her elderly mother if she told the LifeAlert operator anything was wrong. She then took $10,000 from her mother’s bank account. She is charged with felony theft, interference with a 911 call, and domestic assault. She is free on a $29,000 bond.

Mother jailed after putting hands on adult daughter’s mouth, grabbing her by hair — Jana White Booker

50-year-old Jana White Booker is charged with the domestic assault of her adult daughter after witnesses say she became agitated, grabbed her by her hair, and began to put her hands on her daughter’s mouth during an argument. She is jailed in lieu of a $1,000 bond.

Ohio tourist jailed after assaulting her sister during Nashville visit — Christina Scipio arrested

A family scuffle between sisters from Ohio landed 29-year-old Christina Michelle Scipio in the Metro Nashville Jail late Friday night. The family was staying in downtown Nashville when their father says he observed a fight break out between them, leaving Hannah Scipio with scratches and bruises to her face and leg. She was able to get a few hits back on Christina, including a bruise to the right corner of her mouth, but police determined Christina to be the primary aggressor and took her into custody. She is free on a $1,000 bond.

Woman punched in face by daughter to stop her drunken rampage — Renada Shoemake, Mother, arrested

41-year-old Renada Shoemake is jailed in lieu of a $2,000 bond after she showed up at her daughter’s home heavily intoxicated making allegations of child abuse against someone that confirmed to have not even been in the area for over two months. She attempted to beat down the daughter’s door, pushed in an air conditioning unit, and broke a window. Eventually, the daughter resorted to punching her mother, Renada Shoemake, in the face multiple times until she stopped.

Grandmother pulls golf club on grandchild who poured out her liquor — Wanda Webster, Aggravated Assault w/Deadly Weapon

57-year-old Wanda Fay Webster tells police she was planning on “whopping her granddaughter’s butt” for acting unruly but when she poured out a bottle of liquor in her kitchen she grabbed a golf club instead. The juvenile victim says told police her grandmother threatened her with the golf club and pushed her over the stove. The victim pushed her grandmother, in self-defense, knocking her onto the kitchen table and onto the floor. Granny is free on a $1,000 bond, after spending about 8 hours in jail.

Woman charged with assaulting granddaughter, hours after assaulting a driver that hit her — Gladys Wills gone wild

58-year-old Gladys Wills went wild Saturday when police say she was hit by a vehicle in downtown Nashville and assaulted that driver, for which she received an assault citation. She then got into a physical fight with her daughter, while her granddaughter got a ride home from MNPD. Once they were all back to the residence, she then assaulted her granddaughter, too, grabbing her by the throat, leaving visible injuries. She’s free on a $1,000 bond.

Domestic Assault: woman charged after throwing green tea on mother — Wallisha Hickman

26-year-old Wallisha K. Hickman is charged with domestic assault after throwing a plastic bottle of Green Tea at her mothing, causing the tea to get on her face and shirt. Night Court Commissioner Timothy Lee set her bond at $100. Wallisha has not yet posted bond, despite her domestic violence hold expiring around 2 a.m. Tuesday morning.

Son berates mother with expletives, grabs steering wheel, kicks out windshield, then simply walks away.

21-year-old Jared Cole-Lomas was riding in a vehicle with his mother when he allegedly began “berating his mother with expletives”, grabbing the steering wheel while she was driving, and eventually kicking out the windshield.

Tourists: Son punches father in Nashville hotel room, father punches back — Matthew Gagnon arrested

22-year-old Matthew Gagnon ended his vacation in custody Wednesday after he punched his father and continued coming at him until his father eventually punched him back in self-defense in a downtown Nashville hotel room.

Belle Meade Millionaire Mother charged with pushing son out front door #assault

51-year-old Victoria Lynn King was taken into custody by Belle Meade Police Sergeant David Wright Wednesday evening after her son called to tell police she pushed him out the front door of her $2.9 million estate, causing him to fall onto the front porch and scratch his right knee and shin.
