60-year-old Karen Bergstrom was involved in a multi-vehicle accident near Old Hickory Boulevard and Nolensville Pike at 3:38 p.m. on May 31st. Following the crash, Bergstrom was transported to Vanderbilt Hospital for medical treatment. When officers arrived at the hospital, she told them that she had no memory of the collision or why she was in Nashville. Bergstrom advised them that she is a “major alcoholic,” that she starts drinking early in the morning, and has drinking-related blackouts. Due to her neck brace, officers only prompted her with one sobriety test, in which she showed signs of impairment. After being informed of implied consent, she agreed to provide a blood sample and was issued a state citation for the occurrence. Bergstrom was booked on the citation of driving under the influence on June 24th.

DUI: Fady Milad crashes after consuming mystery pill he “thought was Percocet”
24-year-old Fady Ashraf Milad was cited on October 30th when he was involved in a single-vehicle accident. Nashville Fire Department arrived and pulled him out of the vehicle, placed him in an ambulance, and gave him Narcan. Milad woke up shortly after and began vomiting. Officers questioned Milad, and he advised them he had bought a blue pill that he “thought was Percocet” from someone on the street, consumed it before driving, and did not remember anything after that. Milad was taken into custody on November 13th for driving under the influence.
Raisbel Gil charged with pushing roommate during argument
24-year-old Raisbel Gil pushed her roommate, Karin Martinez, during an argument about Karin talking behind her back, resulting in a domestic assault charge. On July, 24th MNPD came to an apartment on Edmondson Pike and spoke to Raisbel’s roommate, Karin, who said that she and Raisbel argued earlier. She said that the argument started due to Raisbel accusing Karin of talking badly behind her back. During the argument, Karin said that Raisbel grabbed her by the shirt and pushed her. Police spoke to Raisbel who said that they did argue and she did push her in the kitchen before leaving.
Justice Vance charged after wild DUI & drunken escape from the scene of the wreck
24-year-old Justice Vance faces multiple charges after he swerved into the oncoming lane of travel on Hobson Pike and collided head-on with another vehicle. Instead of stopping, he drove his truck, with only a rim remaining on the right front, until it wouldn’t drive anymore and abandoned it at Murfreesboro Pike and Hamilton Church Pike. Vance then stumbled to a nearby field, where he eventually passed out, leaned up against a fence pole. Multiple bystanders and witnesses would direct officers to the crash site(s), and his final escape route until officers caught up with him as he eventually came to. He denied being in a crash but eventually admitted to drinking, and a half-empty bottle of Crown Royal was found in his truck.
DUI: Kyle Meek crashes into yard, tells residents he has to “get out of here before cops arrive” #RunKyleRun
Late Thursday night, several witnesses observed 37-year-old accountant Kyle Meek crash into a yard and fence in a residential area. They reportedly overhead Meed saying he needed to get out of the area “before the cops arrived”, and was openly admitting he was drinking alcohol prior to driving. He was still on scene when officers arrived and stated he was attempting to drive to his girlfriend’s house for a camping trip when he “missed a curve” and didn’t remember anything after that. He performed poorly on field sobriety tests and stated he drink 2 “very strong” Gin & Tonic drinks an hour before the crash. #RunKyleRun
Ramona Lavender: racial slurs, spit, & urine — oh, what a night! #Arrested
Police say 26-year-old Ramona Lavender and her sister were coming home from a bar when they were involved in a crash in Antioch Friday night. She was yelling and screaming at her sibling when police arrived and then turned her outrage toward officers as they asked questions related to the investigation. She then threatened to shoot the other involved driver, Justin Mathias, and shoot up his house. Once in the rear of a patrol car, she screamed racial slurs at officers, covered the car in her spit, and tried to kick out the windows. Once at booking, she spits on several officers, one of them directly in the face, then stated she had to use the restroom, at which point she pulled her pants down and urinated across the seats in the booking area.
Titans fan arrested after attempting to bite hospital staff after ambulance ride from game — Luke Lacefield
27-year-old Luke Lacefield was transported from Nissan Stadium during the Titans Game, and upon arrival at St. Thomas Midtown, ED staff observed his extreme level of intoxication as he had to be restrained to a hospital bed due to his yelling, screaming, and making threats to of harm to hospital staff.
He reportedly attempted to bite a female member of the security staff who was attempting to restrain him. Lacefield told police he has no memory of the incident.
Nashville Nurse found pantsless & shoeless; too drunk for downtown Nashville — Noah Wallis
23-year-old Noah Wallis was found pantsless and shoeless in a downtown Nashville parking lot in the middle of the afternoon on Saturday. Metro Nashville Police report he was sitting between two vehicles, one of which he had vomited on and caused a large dent in the side of, all while officers noted he “didn’t seem to notice he was missing his shoes and pants”, which were later found thrown in nearby bushes. Wallis stated he had “drank way too much and was just drunk”. He was charged with vandalism and public intoxication, and transported to booking. He is free on pre-trial release.
Nashville Lifestyle Blogger (& DCS Worker) Brianna Soares charged in TWO assaults of her boyfriend after nights out drinking
27-year-old Brianna Soares, better known as ‘Breezzzzyy’ to her thousands of travel & lifestyle followers, and as Family Service Worker Soares to her co-workers at the Department of Children’s Services, was jailed Saturday on a new assault warrant, and an outstanding felony assault warrant, both documenting attacks on her boyfriend, Justin Bennett, leaving him bleeding and injured. In the first assault, she fled before police arrived, leaving her boyfriend bleeding with multiple cuts, bruises, and injuries from strangling him, striking him, and scratching him. Police issued a felony warrant at that time, which she was served with late Saturday when she is once again accused of attempting to grab his neck and assaulting him, both incidents occurred after nights out at local bars.
