DUI: Nicole Noe says she was “traveling, not driving,” so she can’t be charged #Jailed

51-year-old Nicole Noe crashed her Saturn SUV into a utility pole on Charlotte Ave late Sunday night but reassured responding officers that her suspended license wasn’t relevant, as she wasn’t “driving,” she was “traveling.” She repeatedly told officers, “I’m a nurse at Vanderbilt,” as she adamantly refused all medical treatment, stating she would know if she needed medical attention. She admitted to drinking alcohol earlier in the day, and performed poorly on field sobriety tests. She was taken into custody and charged with DUI. Records show that Noe received her CNA license with the state in 2003, which expired in April 2022.

DUI: John Magnuson belligerent with cops after East Nashville hit and run

Metro Nashville Police responded to Rosebank & Porter Road in the early hours of Sunday morning at witnesses say they observed 32-year-old John Magnuson crash into a car and drive away from the initial impact area. Officers located Magnuson a short distance away behind the wheel of his 2019 Toyota Camry, which had heavy front-end damage. He stated he had not consumed any alcohol. Officers described him as very belligerent, and he refused to follow basic instructions. He reportedly reeked of alcohol and was unable to stand on his own. He attempted field sobriety tests, but they had to be stopped for his own safety due to his extreme level of intoxication.

When stopped by police, 21-year-old Karin Garcia Betancourt told officers her internal voice told her not to smoke marijuana today, but she says she did it anyway because it helps with her anxiety and to be more outgoing in her job as a waitress at a local Mexican restaurant. She was initially pulled over Thursday afternoon for going 79 in a 55 mph zone, but officers quickly determined she was under the influence of marijuana while driving. She gave officers the remaining roaches and blunts she had in the vehicle and was charged with DUI, drug possession, and driving without a license. The MNPD Officer noted she was “cooperative and friendly during the interaction” and she thoroughly explained how she was in the “process of cutting back from daily marijuana usage to weekly usage, with the eventual goal of no marijuana usage”. She is free on pre-trial release.

ARRESTED: Singer/Songwriter Clay Evans. Public Intox / Disorderly Conduct

Nashville Singer / Songwriter Clay Wisdom Evans, was arrested on his 3rd public intoxication charge this morning, just after last call. Evans was booked into the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office at 3:33 AM. UPDATE: Today’s public intoxication charge has been dismissed, however he remains out on Pre-Trial Diversion from a June 25th arrest for another public intoxication charge, as well as disorderly conduct. East Nashville Speed Challenge(r) Arrested: Alexander Frazier “I’m Driving; I Got Road Rage”

Earlier this week, we showed you video of a Dodge Challenger speeding through a stop sign on Montgomery Ave in East Nashville. Late Friday evening the driver, Alexander Frazier (age 22), was arrested and charged with Agg Assault w/Deadly Weapon after a WKRN news crew was filming at the intersection when he drove by several times, speeding and once again not stopping, and intimidating the news crew and neighbors. Lyft CRL Agent Danielle Dame has Driving Crisis of Her Own – DUI Charge
