24-year-old Malcolm Watson is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon after police say he struck his ex-boyfriend in the head with a rock, leaving a laceration, and then chased him into a vehicle, where he was trying to retreat, and punched him in the face and bit his bicep. Watson claims he was only punching back from an earlier assault, and that he was the actual victim.
Santwan Holt, 20, Randall Gilmer, 20, and Michael Williams, 24, are all charged in what police describe as a cocaine distribution operation. In addition to cocaine, a search warrant resulted in the seizure of 3 Glock handguns and a Mini Draco. All three denied any knowledge of guns or drugs in the home.
35-year-old Tony Stout was charged with possession of cocaine with intent, leaving the scene of an accident, resisting arrest, and evading arrest after police observed a plastic baggie with over 3 grams of “white powder substance” in his wrecked vehicle. When being detained, he pushed the officer away and ran off.
40-year-old Seneca Webb was charged with domestic assault after pinning, scratching, and pushing his off-and-on girlfriend in a hotel room during a conversation about their relationship.
Nashville Attorney Newton Holiday, III, told Metro Police his vehicle was stolen by a woman he had “let stay at his house for the weekend”, however a confidential informant recorded a call with Holiday, where admits it was all a lie. The woman was Newton’s girlfriend and client.
34-year-old Nicholas Essex is free on a $7,000 bond after Metro Police say he ate heroin as they approached his vehicle Monday. No drugs were actually located.
22-year-old Morgan Jenkins was booked into a Nashville jail at 2:04 a.m. Sunday morning on warrants charging her with vandalism and harassment from a 2018 incident during which police say she called her ex-boyfriend more than 151 times in a single day, then scratched “my heart cannot take this damage” into his front door.
Just one day after his domestic assault of of a 2-year-old child case was dismissed for failure to prosecute, Laharles Frazier was arrested for a new domestic assault charge, after police say he punched a man in the head and chest multiple times.
Use of automated license plate reader technology at BNA led to the discovery of a stolen vehicle, and the arrest of Lajuan Clark. Police found 1.75 pounds of marijuana inside the stolen vehicle, along with ecstasy pills. Clark is free on a $30K bond.
