Intoxicated woman charged after spitting on police — Rebecca Wetherbee arrested

Police say 29-year-old Rebecca Wetherbee was being discharged from St. Thomas Midtown early Saturday after a brief visit and was causing a disturbance, refusing to leave. Officer offered to assist in getting her home, but she refused to tell them where she lived, and told them to”go f–k yourself”. Police determined she was still extremely intoxicated and since she refused to leave the property, she was taken into custody for criminal trespass. Wetherbee, however, wasn’t done. Once in the patrol car she began kicking the rear window, and spit on an officer who attempted to put her in hobble restraints.

Burglary: Woman breaks into home to steal back dog she admits to giving away 6 months prior — Trisha Patel

28-year-old Trish Patel is charged with felony aggravated burglary after she forced her way into an East Nashville Home and attempted to steal a dog named ‘Kovu’, which she freely admits she had previously given to the new owner six months prior. When confronted by officers, Patel fully confessed. She was charged with aggravated burglary and booked into the Metro Nashville Jail.

She is free on a $2,500 cash bond.

East Nashville Mother held minor child’s wrists while kicking her shins during assault, per report — Cheryl Holt a

47-year-old Cheryl Holt was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail early Tuesday morning, charged with the domestic assault of her minor child. Police say the minor child took her mother’s phone away from her because she was attempting to text threats to a third party. The minor returned to her bedroom, at which point Cheryl reportedly screamed at her from the hallway then punched her in the face and slapped her in the face. She then reportedly continued the assault by grabbing and holding her wrists while she kicked her in the shins. Responding officers observed and documented injuries on the minor child, as well as the apartment being in disarray. Cheryl Holt was transported to booking, charged with domestic assault with bodily injury, and is free on a $1,500 cash bond.

Tourist charged with punching boyfriend in face after night of Broadway binging — Sarisa Orphal

27-year-old Sarisa Orphal, a tourist from Fort Wayne, Indiana, is charged with domestic assault in Nashville after her boyfriend told police the couple had been out drinking on Broadway late Saturday night and returned to their room at the Cambria Hotel and began to argue. When Daniel Goff attempted to leave the hotel room she reportedly snatched the hat off his head and punched him in the face three times, leaving two bloody cuts on his face, according to Metro Nashville Police who documented the injuries. She was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail and is now free on a $1,000 cash bond.

Man bleaches all the clothes he bought for girlfriend after an argument — Daweed Malachi Jackson arrested

21-year-old Daweed Malachi Jackson is charged with vandalism after he admitted to taking all of his girlfriend’s clothing he had bought for her while they were dating, placing it in the bathtub, and soaking it with bleach. The damage is estimated to be between $500 – $700. Jackson is free on a $1,000 cash bond.

Man charged with harassment of ex-boyfriend at courthouse, causing a scene after court — Cobe Hampton #Arrested

23-year-old Cobe Hampton is free on a $1,000 cash bond after causing a scene outside a courtroom earlier this month. Hampton exited the courtroom, and waited in the hallways for his ex-boyfriend to also exit, at which time he became upset and began yelling at him. Security had him leave the area, at which point he again approached the victim outside the courthouse angry and yelling, and had to be detained by security. He is charged with harassment – emotional distress.

23-year-old charged when actual “Netflix & Chill” goes wrong with ex-girlfriend — Roberto Herrera

23-year-old Roberto Herrera is charged with sexual battery and is free on a $5,000 bond. Police say he came to the home of his ex-girlfriend and requested to come in and “watch a movie”, which she agreed to, but told him she had a new boyfriend, and nothing “sexual” could happen. At some point during the Netflix he decided to chill and laid his head in her lap, and pulled her closer to him when she attempted to get up. She told him she would call 911 if he didn’t stop, however, he then went to her bedroom and got into her bed, where she says he forcefully kissed her and rubbed her. Court records show she told him to leave, and he replied “I understand you don’t want meq, I will leave now”, and left the apartment. The victim says she felt unsafe, even after he left, and then called police.

31-year-old Brandon Rich, of Brentwood, was charged with public intoxication Monday night at Nissan Stadium after he got into a physical altercation with another fan. He is free on a $100 cash bond.

22-year-old Jason Muralles-Ochoa was charged with public intoxication overnight at the Bar Billares Las Nenas in Antioch after he and a friend got into an altercation with security. Police stopped him from attempting to drive away, and when he became verbally aggressive with them, too, he was booked on the charge of public intoxication.
