Man charged with DUI; stopped in his own driveway— John Henry Terrell, arrested

Metro Nashville Police observed 29-year-old John Terrell driving a Jeep Grand Cherokee just before 1 a.m. Friday and paced him traveling at 60 mph in a 40 mph zone. The officer followed the vehicle as it ran a red light and turned onto Knob Road in West Nashville. As the vehicle was turning into a driveway, the officer activated his lights for a traffic stop. The driver, Terrell, then left from the vehicle, walking toward the front door of the house, which was his, with his pants unzipped. After multiple directives, Terrell eventually made his way to the officer’s vehicle, where he stated he and his fiance had returned from a convention in downtown Nashville and he had two beers prior to driving. Terrell has a prior DUI conviction from 2011 in Georgia.  

Omarion Wright charged after busting windshield of boyfriend’s car while he was seeking an order of protection

19-year-old Omarion Wright and his boyfriend, Isaiah McDaniel, who have made prior Scoop: Nashville appearances for their relationship antics, had a domestic disturbance in March, which resulted in Isaiah going downtown to seek an order of protection. While he was seeking assistance with that endeavor, Omarian reportedly came to his home and smashed the windshield of his vehicle, which was observed by multiple witnesses. There was a female that accompanied Omarion to the location and also participated in the vandalism. Wright reportedly used a car mirror tied to a rope to vandalize the windshield. A warrant was issued for his arrest, and he was booked on that warrant this week.

VIDEO: Jason Terry charged with slashing tires of 8 vehicles before citizens beat him with baseball bats

Several business owners say 45-year-old Jason Terry slashed the tires of at least eight vehicles parked at a shopping center on Charlotte Pike. In a video obtained by Scoop: Nashville, the business owners are seen chasing him down with baseball bats and assaulting him in a large group. Joshua Schangel says he had just pulled into the parking lot and was still in his vehicle when Terry slashed his tire. Casee Adams, who works at a chiropractic business in the strip mall was coming out for lunch and also observed him slashing tires. Both witnesses positively identified him in a photo lineup. While being chased by a group of owners carrying baseball bats, Terry cut one of them, Cyong Nguyen, with the same knife he had used to slash the tires.

Boyfriends brawl: one presses charges, the other does not — Isaiah McDaniel, arrested.

21-year-old Isaiah McDaniel was jailed this week, charged with the domestic assault of his boyfriend, Omarion Wright. Omarion says Isaiah accused him of cheating, so he took out his phone and began to record the interaction. The video shows Isaiah yelling and punching Omarion in the stomach, and he attempted to put him in a chokehold during the struggle. He sustained some scratches on his chest and back. Isaiah says it was the other way around, and Omarion accused him of cheating after he received a message notification on his phone. He claims that before the video began, Omarion hit him in the back of the head, and he got angry and responded by hitting him in the stomach. Isaiah did not want to prosecute for the assault on him, however, Omarion wished to seek charges against Isaiah.

Man pepper-sprays girlfriend after taking her car for three days

44-year-old Robert Newman was charged with domestic assault after he pepper-sprayed his girlfriend when she chased him down the road because he refused to return her vehicle.

18-year-old Gabrielle Turner is charged with felony theft after admitting to investigators she stole $1,670.00 from Walmart, where she worked, by placing the cash in her vest on five separate shifts.
